Larry Courson, Sr.

Larry Courson, Sr., 72, of Cabot passed away Sunday, August 14, 2022. He was born July 5, 1950, in Crossett to the late Horace and Evelyn Cain Courson. Mr. Courson was a 1973 graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a degree in industrial engineering. He worked as a project engineer manager for Georgia-Pacific for 37 years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Courson was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara June Arrant and her husband, Mike; brother, William Edward Courson and his wife, Barbara Ann and sister-in-law, Janet Courson. Mr. Courson is survived by his wife, Margaret Thurman Courson; children, Lendi Marie Wells (Billy) of Cabot and Larry Courson, Jr. (Tannie) of Florence, Miss.; grandchildren, Sydni Michelle Wells, Josh Hunter Wells, Skyler Christian Courson and Ryleigh Grace Courson and siblings, Jerry Courson (Sharron) of White Hall, Daryl Courson of Crossett and Shirley Courson Calhoun (David) of Brevard, N.C. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2022, at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501) 843-5816. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at funeral home with Clay Courson officiating.
