Donald "Dee" Leigh McLaughlin Jr

Donald "Dee" Leigh McLaughlin, Jr, age 71 of Bentonville, AR, passed away unexpectedly on November 26, 2022. He was born on April 27, 1951, to Donald and Mary Ann McLaughlin in Fayetteville, Ark. Dee was a graduate of Lewisville High School and Southern Arkansas University where he majored in political science. Throughout his life he traveled extensively doing research in oil and gas property rights. He loved animals of all kinds and greatly appreciated music of the rock and roll era. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of historical sporting events and personalities, especially those of the Arkansas Razorbacks. He loved Turner Classic Movies and a good steak. He is survived by his sister, Robin Appleton Nelson (Fred Nelson); niece, Mille Davis Alderman (Kyle Alderman); and great-nephew, Ronan; and loving friends, Nancee Spotts, Tyler Garrett, and Mattie Heithaus. A private service will be held in Bentonville on Sunday, December 4, 2022.
