Betty Marie Wilson

Betty Marie Wilson, age 95, of Rogers, formerly of Little Rock died Monday, December 12, 2022 at a local skilled care center. She was born June 15, 1927 in Hannah, North Dakota the daughter of Roberta Prior Miller and Leon L. Miller. She was the nurse at Ouachita Baptist University where she met her husband, James Wilson. Betty and James were married August 15, 1953. Betty enjoyed being a nurse, serving with two hospitals in the Little Rock Area. She loved being a Missionary and Pastor's wife. She and James moved to Rogers, Arkansas in 2010 from Benton, Arkansas, and had been members of First Baptist Rogers since their move. She was preceded in death by her husband; James Wilson in 2021, her parents, two brothers and four sisters. Betty is survived by: one son, John Wilson and his wife Becky, of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Debbie Johnson and her husband Gerald, of Fayetteville; Victori "Vicki" Wagner and her husband Brice, of Rogers; one brother, Tom Miller, of Hannah, North Dakota; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Rogers, located at the Pleasant Grove Campus. A celebration of Betty's life will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Wes George officiating. A private interment will be at Elm Springs Cemetery.
