EVELYN LEE went to be with to be with the Lord peacefully at her home in Hensley, Ark., on December 16, 2022, at 10:50 a.m. Evelyn was born May 23, 1945, in Calvary, Ga., to Webb and Lanell Myrick. Evelyn is survived by her loving husband, Albert Lee; her only child, Christopher Lee; two granddaughters, Jenna and Morgan Lee; and siblings, Woodrow Myrick of Pelham, Ga., Dale Myrick of Cairo, Ga., Francis Maxwell of Tallahassee, Fla., Joyce Shattles of Donalsonville, Ga. and Gloria Davis of Tallahassee, Fla. She was raised in the tobacco fields in southern Georgia, working alongside her parents and siblings. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Pinecrest Funeral Home, 7401 HWY 5 N., Alexander, Ark., 72002. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday night, December 20, 2022, as well as 9 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2022.
