Earl Eugene Ellis

Earl Eugene "Tucker" Ellis, 85, of Pineville, Mo., passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022, at the Circle of Life Hospice House in Bentonville, Ark. Tucker entered this life on October 3, 1936 in Washburn, Mo., to the late Earl and Katie May (Daugherty) Ellis. Tucker married the love of his life, Sherron Sue Sanders, on July 3, 1980 in Jane, Mo. He worked as a sales associate for Wal-Mart. Tucker was a faithful member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Jane, Mo. He really enjoyed golfing and metal detecting. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Debbie Weirich; two brothers, Bob Ellis and Jim Ellis. Tucker is survived by his wife, Sherron Ellis of the home; children, Steve Ellis and wife, Patti, of Centerton, Ark., Karen Perry and husband, Greg, of Bentonville, Ark.; step-children, Kevin Whited and wife, Corrine, of Anderson, Mo., Lori Griffith and husband, Scott, of Jane, Mo.; sister, Louine Gardner of Pineville, Mo.; sister-in-law, Nancy Ellis of Anderson, Mo.; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Jane, Mo., with Pastor Bruce Love and Pastor Steve Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at the Pineville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Mo. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Emmanuel Baptist Church Youth Missions, 5684 East State Highway 90, Jane, Mo., 64856.
