Gwendolyn Jane Staton

Gwendolyn Jane Staton, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 22, 2022. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was an avid quilter who loved making quilts for people. Gwen spent her time being a hardworker and loving up on her grandbabies. She had a deep and loving relationship with Christ and His Church. She loved being surrounded with the people of God and growing her walk with Him. Gwen was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Gunnels and her husband, Marion David Staton. She is survived by her mother, Carolyn Gunnels; brother, Robert (LeAnne) Gunnels; sisters, Sharon (Lee) Staton and Paula Gunnels; four children, daughter, Sarah Staton and sons, Stephen (Hannah) Staton, Timothy (Josie) Staton and Reuben Staton; two lovely grandchildren, Cambree and Adalee Staton, along with many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., on Thursday, February 24, at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
