MYRTLE E. TINDALL, 92, of North Little Rock, Ark., went home to be with Jesus, with all five of her children by her beside, on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, in Sherwood, Ark. Myrtle was born on Friday, August 9, 1929, in Greasy Valley, between Bee Branch and Rabbit Ridge, Ark., to the late Johnny Chance and Clara Banning Chance. Myrtle was a member of Faith Baptist Church in North Little Rock, Ark., where she served on the cooking staff for many years. She was a devoted homemaker and worked in the retail fashion industry for several years. Myrtle enjoyed shopping, especially for shoes. Myrtle also was a poll worker for the Pulaski County Election Commission for many years. Left to cherish her memory are three sons: Jim Tindall (Faye) of Mountain View, Ark., Kenny Tindall of North Little Rock, Ark., Roger Tindall (Tami) of Mountain View, Ark.; two daughters: Linda Powers of North Little Rock, Ark., Rhonda Owen (Darren) of North Little Rock, Ark.; seven grandsons: Rodney Tindall (April), Bobby Powers (Kim), Adam Tindall (Sarah), David Scott Tindall (Celeste), James Owen (Heather), Jared Owen (Liz), Joshua Owen and girlfriend Paige Key; twelve great-grandchildren: Savannah Tindall, Amanda Haynes (Kyle), Andrew Powers, Aric Powers (Maggie), Alyssa Powers and boyfriend Luis Garcia, Lucas Tindall, Leighton Owen, Barrett Owen, Jett Owen, Sawyer Owen, Lauren Sewell (Josiah), Taylor Unruh (Thatch); four great-great-grandchildren: Alivia Haynes, Gus Haynes, Marley Powers, Millie Powers; one brother, Wayne Chance of North Little Rock, Ark.; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Myrtle is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of forty-three years, James G. Tindall; grandson, Marcus Powers; granddaughter, Jerrica Owen; daughter-in-law, Luann Tindall; two sisters: Lorene Owens, Pernie Barnett; and one brother, Bud Chance. Visitation for Myrtle will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, January 24, 2022, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Ark. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Graves Memorial Baptist Church in North Little Rock, Ark. Interment will follow at Blackwell Cemetery in Bee Branch, Ark., with Brothers Darren Owen, Charles Law, and Travis Matthews officiating.
