Bill "BK" Kocsis

BILL "BK" KOCSIS, 63, of Bryant passed away January 20, 2022. BK is survived by his loving wife, Carol; mom, Martha Thomas; son, Heath Kocsis; daughter, Melody Maxey (Chris); brothers, Bob Smith (Missy), Gene Smith (Angie) and James Smith; grandchildren, Kaylee Saling, Parker Kocsis and Lorelei Maxey; and many nieces, nephews and acquired kids and grandkids. He is preceded in death by his dad, Bill Smith, and sister, Tina Thomas. BK was born September 18, 1958, in Little Rock, Ark. He touched the lives of so many people. BK's favorite times were with his family and all the kids he "adopted" throughout the years. He was the type of person who put everyone else first. BK was a natural caretaker who made everyone around him feel loved. He was a role model for so many people and a person who motivated those around him to be a better person. BK was married to the love of his life, Carol, for 43 years. Their love story started when they were in 10th grade and was one most people only dream about. He loved his family and friends but more importantly they loved him. BK was always the biggest fan in the stands no matter what sport was being played by his kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, or anyone else he considered to be his. It didn't matter where he had to go to be at a game, cheer competition or band concert, BK would always manage to show up and be there with a big hug when it was over regardless of the outcome. He was the family's biggest cheerleader. BK loved to travel every chance he got and was always up for an adventure. His friends and family are blessed to have known and to have been loved by him. BK was the best husband, dad, son, brother, Pap and friend. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. A visitation for William will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2022, from 6-8 p.m. at Pinecrest Funeral Home, 7401 HIGHWAY 5 N, ALEXANDER, Ark. 72002. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at 12 p.m., 7401 HIGHWAY 5 N, ALEXANDER, Ark. 72002. A burial will occur Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 1 p.m., 7401 HIGHWAY 5 N, ALEXANDER, Ark., 72002.
