Barbara Mae Fithian

Barbara Mae Fithian, 88, of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at the Earlene Howard Hospice Home in Springdale. Barbara was born on September 12, 1933, in Joplin, Missouri. She earned her bachelor's degree on Psychology and was a home maker. She is survived by one son, Gary Fithian and wife Joanne of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one sister, Virginia Lemons and husband Don; five grandchildren, Trevor Fithian and wife Ashley, Tammy Gressley and husband Forrest, Nick Yazinsky, Grant Weber and Wesley Weber and wife Kimberly; eight great- grandchildren and one on the way. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Fithian, a son, Alan Fithian, a daughter, Shirley Fithian, and two brothers, Dick and Bob Sheffler. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at 10 a.m., at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale. Backstrom~Pyeatte Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
