Ronald Lee Ribble, 86, of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away July 15, 2022. He was born January 26, 1936, in Ferris, Texas, to Cecil and Jimmie (Spurlock) Ribble. Ronnie was preceded in death by Patricia Baker Ribble, his wife of 44 years and mother of his sons; and second wife, Camille Ribble. Survivors include sons, Alan Ribble and wife, Kerry, of Texarkana, Barry Ribble and wife, Kelly, of Magnolia; grandchildren, Sarah Medley and husband, Lee, Conner Ribble and wife, Whitney, Parker Ribble; great-grandchildren, Thomas, Coleman, and Marie Duch, Palmer, Baker, and Hayes Ribble, Marian, Collin, and Caleb Medley. He is also survived by Sara Roberson, his companion, with whom he shared much fun and laughter for the last six years. Ronnie attended Southern State College on a football scholarship and then later served SAU in various capacities. He was very proud of his service to the community. Ronnie was full of life and loved to fish and laugh. He was very witty, great at writing poems, and loved singing around the piano, or anywhere for that matter, with his friends. Ronnie was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hot Springs, where he was a member of the Saints and Sinners Sunday School class. Visitation will be 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 23, at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. A celebration of Ronnie's life will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 25, at First United Methodist Church with Rev. David Wilson officiating. A reception will follow the service. Burial will be 4 p.m. Monday, July 25, at Magnolia Memorial Park in Magnolia.
