She graduated from Hall High School in 1973 in Little Rock, and went on to attend Ouachita Baptist University, where she was an active member of the EEE social club and made some of her closest friendships that lasted her entire life. In 1999, Debbie was chosen as one of the Top 100 Women by "Arkansas Business", which was a product of her drive and determination. Debbie was smart, creative, compassionate and had a very giving heart. She loved to give "fun" Christmas gifts to all her family and friends. Debbie was very industrious, she once asked for a sewing machine and a circular saw for Christmas. She immensely enjoyed spending time at Shangri La Resort on Lake Ouachita in Mount Ida, Ark., where eating pie was a favorite treat. She loved playing softball, but the highlight of her life was the years she spent coaching a girls softball team at Highway 10 Community Center in Little Rock.
