Carolyn Colley Huber

Carolyn Colley Huber of North Richland Hills, Texas, passed away on May 28th 2022 in Grapevine, Texas. She was born on October 14, 1933 in Current View, Mo., to Mr. and Mrs. R.L. Colley She is survived by her wonderful husband of 64 years, Joe C Huber; granddaughters, Leslie McGuire and husband, Patrick McGuire, of Watauga, Texas, Lauren Le and husband, John Le, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; great-grandchildren, Madison McGuire, Olivia McGuire, Nolan Le, and Emma Le; many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, R.L. and Lorene Colley; twin sister, Marilyn C Barre; brothers, James M. Colley and Johnny Joe Colley; and her loving son, Greg Huber. She had a long career as an executive assistant. She worked at the Rose Law Firm in Little Rock, Ark., the Arkansas Governor's Mansion, and her most cherished title, Special Assistant to President Clinton, from which she retired. In retirement she enjoyed traveling, scrapbooking, cooking, learning her ancestry, and spending time with her granddaughters and great-grandchildren. She loved watching her great-grandchildren, in all their activities. The funeral service was held 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 31st, at Legacy Church of Christ, North Richland Hills. The private graveside service will be Saturday, June 4th, at 10 a.m. at Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery in Colleyville, Texas.
