Helen Virginia Bahus Saia of Rolling Hills Estates, California. passed away at her home, on February 19, 2022, following a valiant three-year battle with Alzheimer's disease. Helen was born on December 19, 1947, to Joseph and Althea Turner Bahus in Jonesboro, Ark. She spent her youth in Jonesboro, followed by stints in Memphis, Little Rock, and Plano (Dallas), Texas. It was in Houston, Texas, where she met her husband-to-be, John Saia. Following her marriage in Little Rock in 1989, they located briefly to Akron, Ohio, then moved West to Southern California where John began a career with Toyota Motors Sales, Inc. For most of her adult life, Helen enjoyed a distinguished and accomplished career in the health field, largely managing a variety of medical practices and understanding the intricacies of practice management. Helen exhibited passion and enthusiasm in management, learning, and her extensive people skills. She enjoyed sharing this knowledge and experience with everyone. Helen expressed great love for many aspects of her life, but none more so than for her husband, family, and friends. Helen leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband of 33 years, John Saia; her sister, Diana Goodwin of Little Rock; her brother, David Bahus of Dover and a host of extended family and friends. Helen is preceded in death by her parents. In lieu of flowers and in honor of Helen Saia, memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, F117, Chicago, Illinois, 60601 or www.alz.org.
