Charles Brett Stuart, 61, single father of three, passed away after a long battle with cancer on Sunday, March 13, 2022. Brett was born in Searcy on November 19, 1960. Brett had many interests and hobbies throughout his life. As a young man, he served as a member of DeMolay International, was a dedicated Boy Scout, and during high school he competed as an amazing catcher in baseball and a fearless football lineman for the Searcy High School Lions. Proudly served in the Army where he learned the technical computer skills that he would use to excel in the private sector of internet technologies until his retirement in 2018, and then again in 2020. Brett later attended Arkansas State University. He enjoyed playing golf, making his own ammunition and going to the shooting range, riding and working on motorcycles, along with woodworking projects, mostly for his daughter Rachel. He loved to ‘Call the Hogs' while watching the Razorbacks and was also a fan of the St. Louis Cardinal's and the Dallas Cowboys. Above all, his true love was for his children and grandchildren. Brett is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Virginia Lovell, of Searcy; Vance and Nell Stuart of Warren; and one aunt, Lanay (Marcus) Northcutt, also of Searcy. Brett is survived by both parents, Gale (Connie) Stuart, of North Little Rock, and Deanna Lovell Stuart of Atkins; one sister, Deidre (Phillip) Haralson, of Atkins; three children, Seth (Casey) Stuart of Sherwood; Rachel (Chad) Hampton of Brinkley, and Jessica (Charles Kassed) Stuart of Sherwood; one niece, Delaney Haralson of Fayetteville; five grandchildren, Renee, and Johnathan Stuart of Sherwood, along with Makayla Jade, Brett Maddux, and Mollie Gayle Hampton of Brinkley.
