Herbert Wayne Parker

Herbert Wayne Parker, son of Rev. George Parker and Leatha Thomas Parker of Keo, Ark., was born on May 30, 1963. On January 31, 2022, he was summoned to his eternal home while living in Houston, Texas. Herbert attended England schools, including Gartrell. He was also a member of the U.S. Army. His parents and oldest brother, Henry, preceded him in death. Survivors include siblings, Calvin, Louis Sr., Virginia, Ora, George Jr,, Lovell, Queen, Mary, and Carritta. A memorial service will be held at Bill Harmon Recreation Center, 51 Shelby Rd., Sherwood, Ark. 72120, on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at 11 a.m., with burial to follow in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 W Maryland Ave, North Little Rock, Ark. Donations to the Morris Chapel Cemetery of Keo can be mailed to 7402 Choctaw Rd., Little Rock, Ark. 72205, in lieu of flowers.
