Ramona Crabtree, age 91, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas. She was born on Thursday, July 17, 1930, in Bentonville, Arkansas, to Jim Short and Leona Short (McMillan). Ramona attended Bentonville High School, where she graduated in 1947. She was a life-long resident, born and raised in Bentonville. She retired from Wal-Mart in 1995. She enjoyed her grandchildren more than anything, being actively involved with her family and her church; Miller Community Church in Bentonville. She was preceded in death by her husband; Kenneth Crabtree, three children; Terry Crabtree, James (Rex) Crabtree, and Deborah Woodside, one sister; Barbara Cowgur, and her parents; Jim and Leona. Ramona is survived by her son; Larry Crabtree (Sally) of Jefferson City, Missouri, her two sisters; Jimmy Bolin (Dexter) of Oologah, Oklahoma, and Bonnie Hammerud (Russ) of Parker, Colorado, ten grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at Epting Funeral Home of Bentonville on Thursday, March 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. The Celebration of her life will be held on Friday, March 18, at Miller Community Church of Bentonville at 2:30 p.m., followed by interment at the Miller Community Cemetery, pastor Danny Cheney presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in her honor to Miller Community Cemetery, in care of Linda Stacy at, 737 Elm Springs Rd., Springdale, Arkansas, 72762.
