Frank James

Frank E. James, age 99, of Fayetteville, passed away Friday, March 25, 2022. He was born October 3, 1922, in Fayetteville, Ark., to Russell and Ermany Cathleen Jones James. He is a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Fayetteville; he served as usher at church for over 40 years. He served in the U.S. Navy until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorna James; and his son, Ronald Pennington. He is survived by four daughters: Michele James of Fayetteville, Cathleen James of Fayetteville, Tamera Rowland of Fayetteville, and Tracy Troxell of Bartlesville, Okla.; two sons: Alan Wilson of Canberra, Australia, and Robert James of Fayetteville; one sister, Marge Penix of Amarillo, Texas; nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Rosary service will be 4 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2022. Visitation will follow the rosary from 4:30 p.m. – 6 p.m. at Moore's Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Fayetteville, with burial to follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
