James Monroe Larach

James Monroe "Jim" Larch left this earth on Monday, March 28th, to rejoin his beloved wife of 62 years; Shirley Ann Addie. Born May 22, 1937, in Little Rock, Ark., Jim was a man of many talents and several successful careers. Jim retired as an engineer of Teletype, taught many the love of bowhunting at Custom Archery, and ran a successful CNC business known as Larco Manufacturing. Jim and Shirley loved to ride, first on Harley-Davidson motorcycles and later in their Triumph and MG cars. Neither ever met a stranger nor hesitated to help a friend in need. Ever the avid storyteller, you knew you were about to hear something great when you saw that sparkle in his eyes. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Monroe P. Larch and Billie B. Bentley; brother, Michael; and son, James Dominick. Left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved tomcat, Thomas; daughters Mona (Ellis), and Diana (Bob); three grandchildren, Mandy (Mike), Shannon, and Zack, four great-grandchildren, Jordan, Blake, Natalie, and Isabelle; and great-great granddaughter, Addison. Visitation will be conducted from 12 noon-1 p.m. on Saturday,
