Barbara Coreen (Sue) Goode, of Benton, died April 25, 2022, at age 80. Survived by sons, Gary (Kathy) Goode, Clarksdale, Miss., Steve (Christie) Goode, Vilonia, Ark., David Goode, Little Rock, Ark.; daughter, LeeAnne Prickett, Benton, Ark.; "chosen" son, Dennis (Tina) Milligan, Benton, Ark.; brother, Phillip (Theresa) Milligan, Heber Springs, Ark.; sister-in-law, Becky Milligan, Drasco, Ark. Left to remember their Nana are 10 grandchildren: Trey Goode, Martha Katharine Goode, Anna Douglas (J.T.) Talley, Reagan (Dylan) Ware, Dorothie Grace Goode, Andrew Goode, Milli Louise Prickett, Yates Prickett, Sarah Beth Prickett, and Mary Claire Good; one great-grandson, Waylon Ware; and other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Wayne Milligan. Sue grew up in Brummett, Ark., having adventures with her Daddy, Mama, and brothers. She was family oriented then, which carried over to the rest of her life. Sue worked at Birch Tree Communities for 20 years and developed lifelong friendships. Following her children and grandchildren in sporting and school activities was a passion. Sue was "Nana" to everyone. Her house was homebase for two generations of kids who grew up with her family. Food was one of her callings – whether fixing it or eating it. She loved traveling anywhere. Sue is and will be missed in every aspect of a great many lives. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 2, at Ashby's Funeral Home in Benton, Ark., followed by the Memorial Service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Saline County.
