Faye Toombs

Faye Toombs, 98, of North Little Rock, began new life in Heaven, Saturday, April 16, 2022. She was born to James and Eltie Ferguson in Wheatley, Arkansas, February 20, 1924. After graduation from high school, she attended Arkansas College at Batesville (Lyon College) and then began her dental career lasting 25 years. She was an active member of Amboy United Methodist Church. Faye leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 74 years, William C. Toombs Sr., daughter, Dr. Nancy J. Toombs, both of North Little Rock, son, William Clay Toombs Jr. (Cindy) of Carrollton, Texas. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, but closest to her heart was niece, Cathy Lee (Kelino), whom she loved as a second daughter and Stephen Foster (Cheri), whom she loved as a second son. Funeral services will be a private family gathering with Reverend Miles Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. Online guestbook at: www.smihfamilcares.com.
