Elizabeth Ann Ford

Elizabeth Ann Ford, 73, of Searcy, passed away Friday, April 29, 2022, at home. She was born February 17, 1949, in Searcy, to the late Randolph Ford and Eddie Mae Johnson. Liz retired from Land O' Frost after 40 years of dedicated service. She was a member of the St. Mary's CME Methodist Church and loved her church family dearly. The Mrs. Curtis Daycare Kids were a bright spot in her day and she loved helping with them. She enjoyed going shopping and to the casino. She is survived by her brothers, Robert Lynn Johnson (Ora) of Rockford, Illinois, and Judge Leon Johnson (Tamara) of Little Rock; sisters, Jolean Young (Douglas) of Beebe, Betty Johnson of Jacksonville, and Nell Turner of Searcy; a special uncle, James Johnson; many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews; as well as many friends and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Randolph Ford and Eddie Mae Johnson and her sisters, Janie Williams and Wanda Johnson. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 7, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Searcy McEuen Funeral Home with services to begin immediately following at 12 p.m. Interment will be in the Gum Springs Cemetery.
