Ronnie Hubert Buckner

Ronnie Hubert Buckner, 76, of Mayflower, Ark., went to be with the Lord, April 26, 2022. He was born November 5, 1945 in Heber Springs, Ark., to lssac Anderson Buckner and Mattie Bird Wood Buckner. Ronnie was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Atkinson Buckner; parents, lssac Anderson Buckner and Mattie Bird Wood Buckner; his sisters, Ceil Bell, Rena Menees, Madge Kirby, Wincie Hendricks; and brother, Thomas Buckner. Left to Cherish his memory are his daughters: Karissa (Bryan) Hammer of Mayflower, Wanda (Ottie) Cowgill of Greenbrier; Rhonda (Ron) Mann of Conway; and son, Shannon Buckner of Conway; his grandchildren, Jerry (Pella) Gooch, Patricia (Juan) Pineda, Lori McCarty, Gracie Hammer; his great grandchild, Amelia Pineda, and many other nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives. Ronnie was a brick contractor by trade. He loved to ride and race horses, collect antiques, and to never meet a stranger. When he wasn't working he enjoyed sitting around with family and friends, and watching westerns.
