George W. Stevenson

George W. Stevenson, age 94, of Jacksonville, Ark., went to be with the Lord on May 14, 2022. He was born on September 17, 1927, in the Furlow Community to George and Eunice Stevenson. George was a Navy Veteran of WWII and retired Foreman at Timex. He was a devout husband, father and family man. He is survived by two daughters, Sherry (Mike) Donnell of Jacksonville, Arkansas, and Lisa (Mike) Rabatin of Maumelle, Arkansas; grandchildren, Melissa Dickerson of Cabot, Rachel Peruche of Tuscon, Arizona, Alex Dickerson of Jacksonville, Arkansas; two great- grandchildren, Piper Peruche and Mason Williams. George was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Betty Stevenson. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, May 18, 2022, 11 a.m., at the Smith-Westbrook Chapel with funeral service to follow at 12 noon. Interment at Concord Cemetery in Lonoke.
