Ruby Sharp

Ruby Sharp, 96, of Conway, Ark., passed into the arms of her Lord, May 16, 2022. She was born to Francis Jones and Lois (Bird) Jones April 6, 1926, on Petit Jean Mountain, Ark. Ruby is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marvin, of 54 years; grandson, Stuart Jones; three brothers and a sister. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Jones (B.T.) of Conway, Ark.; great-grandchildren, Macy Jones and Kai Jones of Conway, Ark., as well as a "great-grandchild in heart"; Leila Kim of Conway, Ark., and several nieces and nephews. She spent her younger years on Petit Jean Mountain working in the family garden and picking cotton with her older sister. She loved living things; plants, animals, and people (especially children). She enjoyed fishing, reading, talking with folks, church activities, and spending time with family. After living in Little Rock, Ark., from 1950 to 1987, she and her husband built their home near Lake Conway. They became active members of Brumley Baptist Church where they made many dear friends through the years. Those who knew and loved her will miss her outgoing nature, tight hugs, true grit, and faith. A visitation will be held at 9 a.m., on Thursday, May, 19, 2022, with funeral services following at 10 a.m., at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home located at, 650 Central Landing Blvd., in Conway, Ark. lnterment will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Ark.
