Margaret Ann Coker Pruitt, 82, of White Hall, passed away in her residence Monday, May 16, 2022. She was born January 4, 1940 in Stuttgart to Milford Coker and Essie B. Holland Rainey. Margaret was a long time member of the Living Church of God. She was a homemaker, loved gardening and fishing with her husband. Margaret was a good wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and helped people that were in need. She was known for being caring and a selfless person. Margaret's joy was singing her favorite hymns and reading the Bible. She also enjoyed visiting with family and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents; and a brother, Doyle Dee Coker. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, James T. Pruitt, whom she married September 9, 1958, in Wabbaseka; two sons, Richard Pruitt of Sheridan, and Randy Pruitt (Sheila) of Little Rock; daughter, Marcia Motal (Melvin) of Little Rock; two sisters, Carolyn Everette and Donna Weeks; one brother, Gene Rainey; three grandchildren, Benjamin E. Motal, Melody Gaeng (Drew) and Shannon Evans (Sean); and two great-grandchildren, Brady and Blair Gaeng. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Friday, May 20, 2022, at Robinson & Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel with Pastor Phil West officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
