Charles "Chuck" Webb, 78, of Rogers, Ark., went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at Circle of Life Bentonville. He was born May 23, 1943, in Blytheville, Ark., to Curtis Silas Webb and Emma Virginia Webb. Chuck grew up as a small boy on his grandpa's cotton farm with his mom, awaiting his dad's return from fighting in WWII. When Curtis returned, he moved his family to Kansas City, Mo., where Chuck and his brother, Jerry, continued their boyhood and early adult years. He learned at an early age the value of a dollar and the hard work it took to get it. As a teenage boy, Chuck was hired at a clothing store in Kansas City. There, he was taught lessons in retail that would later land him a career at what became the largest retail giant, WALMART. Chuck continued being promoted by hard work and caring for his associates and customers. He was determined to coach his associates to provide them with the opportunity for advancement. He valued Mr. Sam and was very knowledgeable in the "Walmart Culture". Mr. Sam depended on Chuck to get the Sam's Clubs up and running. After 29 years, Chuck retired in 2000 as Senior Vice President of Operations. He was inducted into the Sam's Hall of Fame and fortunately, had saved a brick from the very first Sam's Club in Jefferson City, Mo. That "legendary brick" is now located in the Sam's Museum. "We're all working together: that's the secret." - Sam Walton. Chuck was a member of the Fellowship Bible Church of Rogers, Ark. He enjoyed Men's Bible Study, hunting, fishing, and his classic cars. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, papa, and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Webb; mother, Emma Webb; brother, Jerry Webb; and his precious daughter, Kimberly Kay Webb. He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Taylor Webb; daughter, Kelly Webb Martin; granddaughter, Shelby Diane Martin; grandson, Marc Roland Martin, all of Montgomery, Texas; bonus children/grandchildren, Amy Switzer Murphy, Kaleb Michael Murphy, Alexander John Murphy, all of Cypress, Texas, Melissa Switzer Nielsen of Cave Springs, Ark.; Madilyn Littlefield Metcalf of Bella Vista, Ark., Sarah Michelle Littlefield of Springdale, Ark., Christopher Michael Switzer, Stella Monroe Switzer of Bentonville, Ark., Lillian Raine Switzer of Austin, Texas.
