Charles "Grayson" Mixon, 52, of Austin, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Baptist Health Medical Center-Springhill in North Little Rock. He was born October 17, 1969, in Little Rock, to the late Charles Monroe Mixon of Hickory Plains, Arkansas, and Helen Ruth Moyers Kyle of Austin, Arkansas. Grayson graduated from Cabot High School in 1988. Grayson and Lisa enjoyed life together and when you saw one, you always saw the other. He always put his family first and the last several years, he was privileged to work with his wife as a team at All About Cleaning Company and the Arkansas Democrat Gazette. In addition to his parents, Grayson was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hillard and Eunice Todd Mixon and William Roy and Dorothy Helen Colburn Moyers. Grayson is survived by his wife of thirty years and the love of his life, Lisa LaRue Mixon; sons, Bryan Helms (Kita) of Sherwood and Grayson Bailey Mixon (Callie) of Austin; daughters, Alicia Wright (Geoffrey) of Monticello, Amy Brooks (Nick) of East End and Tatum Mixon of Austin; eight grandsons and four granddaughters; sister, Molly Burgess (Berry) of Bigelow; three extended sisters and one extended brother; aunt, Marina Gayle King of Texas; uncle, Sonny Mixon of Arizona; a great-aunt in Virginia and numerous extended family members and friends. Grayson thoroughly enjoyed his family and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral service will be 6 p.m., Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Thomas Funeral Service.
