Lyn Woods, 98, of North Little Rock, passed away peacefully at home on October 30, 2022.
She was a 1942 graduate of Central High School where she participated in track and tennis competitions. She was a former member of Gardner Memorial Methodist Church and a current member of Levy United Methodist Church.
She was also known as Memaw at The T-Shirt Shop in North Little Rock, where she worked for 45 years.
She loved spending time cooking, sewing, and designing clothes, playing dominos, calling the Hogs, and many other sports and hobbies.
She is predeceased by her former husband of 38 years, Jess B. Woods; and son, Gary Wayne Woods; parents, Robert D. and Finnie Burdell; sister, Evelyn Burdell; and two brothers, Buddy and Tommy Burdell.
She is survived by a son, Robert "Bobby" Woods; two daughters, Gail Kinnard (Randy), Judy Johns (David); grandson, Jason Johns (fiancee Amy); stepchildren, Chris Bowen (Kami), Rusty Kinnard (Alisha), Brittany Huitt (fiance Colton), TJ Kinnard (Bre);six step-grandchildren; and life-long friend, Herb Haustein.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 4, at 12 p.m., and funeral services following at 1 p.m., both at Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock.
The family asks in lieu of flowers to send donations to Leukemia Foundation or Little Rock School for the Blind.
