Adrienne Elizabeth Shaunfield

Adrienne Elizabeth Johnston Shaunfield, age 41, of Fayetteville passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2022. Born on November 16, 1980, Adrienne was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece, friend, and community force of goodness. A graduate of Southside High School in Fort Smith and the University of Arkansas-Little Rock, Adrienne's passion for knowledge and dedication to make a difference started at an early age. An advocate for nature, community, and music, Adrienne was influential in many organizations and events including Sierra Club, Feed Fayetteville, Tricycle Farms, Roots Fest, Foam Fest and many more. Through this work, Adrienne was inspired to open The Farmer's Table Cafe with her husband, Rob, focusing on supporting local farmers and a place for locals to meet and greet. Adrienne is survived by her husband, Rob Shaunfield; a son, River; a daughter, Spring, all of Fayetteville, Ark.; parents, Ellen Warren and her husband Terry of Vian, Okla., and Clyde Johnston, Jr. and his wife, Mamie, of Fort Smith, Ark.; one sister, Emily Johnston and her partner, Jason, of Raleigh, N.C.; their children, Milo and Annalee; Rob's parents, Phil and Suzy Shaunfield, of Fort Worth, Texas; sister-in-law, Amy Mercer and husband, Jonathan, of Fort Worth, Texas; their children, Amanda and Phillip, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandfather, Clyde Johnston, Sr. of Fort Smith, Ark. Adrienne loved good music, dancing with her many friends, and was fiercely protective of all those she loved. A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, November 14, 2022, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Fayetteville. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.
