Jesse Lee Burkett

Jesse Lee Burkett, 74, of Searcy, entered the gates of Heaven on Thursday, November 10, 2022. He was born on April 12, 1948, to the late Lee and Sally Burkett, in Mulberry, Ark. Jesse was an avid collector and collected a wide variety of treasures. Glass, guns, knives, and watches were among the many things that could catch his eye. He was a pastor in the Searcy area for 50 years, preaching at several different churches. He was currently a member of the Park Avenue Baptist Church in Searcy. Jesse is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Barbara Kay Burkett; his son, Stephan Burkett; and daughter-in-law, Lisa Burkett. He is preceded in death by his parents. Ephesians 3:21 - Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 2 p.m. at the Park Avenue Baptist Church in Searcy, with Bro. Philip Baxter and Bro. Keith Lunceford officiating.
