BELINDA G YODER, age 58 of Jacksonville, went to heaven on October 24, 2022 at UAMS Hospital after a three-month battle with cancer. She was born April 26, 1964 in Amarillo Texas, the daughter of Joaquin Gonzales (deceased) and Gloria Baca. Belinda graduated from North Pulaski High School, class of 1983. She was married to her high school sweetheart, Steve Yoder, and they celebrated 37 years of marriage in May. Belinda had a love for life and lived it with a joyous and adventurous spirit. Her father was in the Air Force and she spent her early youth in Alaska and Hawaii. Since high school, she worked in retail sales where she put her love for people to use sharing her light with all the new faces she met daily. She loved family, friends and seeing new places. She also had a passion for taking pictures of everyday life, the trips she took (especially to the beach or tropical places), and her latest subject her new granddaughter Isabella. She had a deep belief and faith in God and looked forward to attending church and watching online. When her boys were growing up, she even spent several years volunteering with the Cub Scouts and enjoyed her time helping them earn their achievements. She was artistic and had a love for music and enjoyed many performances of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra. Her adventurous side almost got her in trouble when she photo bombed world famous violinist, Joshua Bell…but that was Belinda, always trying to find fun in life. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother Daniel Gonzales. Surviving in addition to her husband Steve Yoder, are her sons Sean Yoder and his wife Montana Guthrie Yoder of North Little Rock, and Dustin Yoder of Jacksonville; one granddaughter Isabella Yoder of North Little Rock; she also has a niece and many cousins, aunts and uncles who also survive her. A service of remembrance was held on Friday Nov. 11, 2022 at First Assembly of God, 4501 Burrow Drive, North Little Rock. Arrangements by A Natural State Funeral Service 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Ark., 72076. 501-982-3400.
