VERNON RAFAEL CORTEZ REED SR., 32, of Jacksonville, passed on Nov. 8, 2022. "CORTEZ" was a Class of 2008 graduate of North Pulaski High School in Jacksonville, and a former Manager for Sonics Drive-In on North First Street in Jacksonville. He leaves to cherish his memories: grandmother, Allene Reed; parents, Katherine Flowers (Sherman, Deceased) of Jacksonville, Lozell C. Reed (Melissa) of Clarksville, Tenn.; children, Xantasion Reed(Ellen Chavez), Valencia Richardson (Ciperanna Richardson) Lozell Reed, Zion Reed, Veron Reed Jr(Lindsey Fleetwood) Serenity Reed(Briana Garner); siblings, Cedric (Judith)Sanders, Analyn (Chris)Lofton, Shrmarya Flowers, Sherman Flowers, Jr., and Jacarius Flowers of Jacksonville, Jon Reed, Cameron Reed of Clarksville, Tenn.; and a host of other relatives and friends. A walkthrough viewing will be 3-5 p.m., Friday, Nov. 25, O.T. Smith Memorial Chapel.
