Lyndal Hayden

Lyndal Jean Hayden, 85, of Jefferson, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022. She was born in Malvern, Ark., on March 4, 1937, the daughter of Frona Mayhood and Floyd McDougal. She was reared and received her early education in Bauxite, then attended White Hall School District. She was also a member of The United Church of God. Lyndal enjoyed cooking for her family, especially her famous chocolate pies. She also was an amazing seamstress. Lyndal retired from White Hall School District, where she was a cafeteria worker for over 20 years. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William H. Baugh; her second husband, Howard Hayden; sister, Mary Sue Cook; brother, F.L. McDougal; and one grandson, Jody White. Survivors include her son, William H. Baugh, Jr., of Jefferson; daughter, Vickie Jean Baugh of Sheridan; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be Thursday, October 6, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Jefferson Cemetery. Visitation will be at the graveside, 10 a.m. until service time.
