David M Eldred

David M Eldred, passed away October 21, 2022. He was born September 8, 1940 in Sulphur Springs, Ark., to George and Mary (Freese) Eldred. He is preceded in death by his wife of thirty-four years, Lynn Eldred, and their beloved cat, Charlie. David graduated from Bentonville High School. He served in the United States Army. While living in California, he worked in the transportation department at 21st Century Fox and made many friends. David was resilient, he fought and beat cancer. He was president of the Bentonville Lion's Club. He enjoyed the "Supper Club" meetings with other Bentonville High School alumni. David is survived by his son, David R Eldred (Julia) of Springdale; stepson, Jeff (Mary Beth) Mann; stepdaughter, Susan Mitchell of Gravette; grandchildren, Lauren (Chris) Mann, Zachary (Courtney) Mann and Kirsten Hutcheson; greatgrandchildren, Daniel Mann, Ryker Mann, Axel Mann, Harlow Mann and Walker Mann.
