Kathera P. Seals

Kathera P. Seals, 67, received eternal healing on August 28, 2022, at St. Bernards Medical Center, in Jonesboro, Ark. She was in the presence of her children, their spouses and her grandchildren. Born in Liberty, Mississippi, Kathera was the daughter of Roosevelt and Olivia Patterson. Kathera was married for 35 years to Willie Seals, who proceeded her in death in December 2020. Kathera moved her family to Northwest Arkansas in 1994 where she filled her days teaching, preaching and praying. In 2015, Kathera and Willie moved to Wynne, Arkansas to retire. Kathera was a retired teacher who spent her final years serving Wynne Public Schools. Kathera brought life and laughter to everyone and took pride in sharing the goodness of God to as many as she could. She was a member of Faith Harvest Outreach Ministry in Wynne, Arkansas. Kathera will be remembered for her love for her family and the prayers that she prayed that changed and restored the lives of those around her. Kathera will be missed by her siblings: Lucille Schiff LaPlace, La., James Patterson Kenner, La., Elvis Patterson Magnolia, Miss., Joyce Patterson Magnolia, Miss., and Leola Bates-Barre LaPlace, La., her children: Monique Harris (Ron) Northwest, Ark., Benny McDowell (Kesha) Wynne, Ark., Ebony Browning (Jonathan) Northwest, Ark., her grandchildren: Nadiyah, Benjamin, Jeremiah, Braylan, and Bria; two very special friends to our family Michelle Briggs and son, Joshua West; countless other friends and family members.
