Helen Mae Collins

Like a beautiful butterfly, Helen Collins, 79, of Little Rock fluttered sweetly away to her heavenly home Monday, August 29, 2022, with her daughter nearby. She was a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church #3, a 1958 Horace Mann graduate, and had retired from the VA hospital after 30 years. Left with cherished memories are her children, Patricia Dunn (Gracus), John Jr. (Denise) and Anthony (Andrea) Collins; six grandchildren, LaKisha Hart (Derek), Kenise and Raymond Washington, Grachaun Correa (Carlos), Jonathan Dunn, Dominique and Wayne Collins, and Vanessa Springer Collins; four great-grandchildren, Tane and Khalil Hart, Kharlyn and Chaun Correa; brother, Alfred Wilburn; and goddaughter, Lena Lowe. Perpetual care entrusted to GateWay Funeral Chapel, "Where Caring and Quality Come First", 2405 S. Gaines Street-LR. Obsequies will be 11 a.m., Saturday, September 10, at Pilgrim Rest BC #3, 3801 Springer Boulevard-LR. Open visitations will be 10-11 a.m., at the church Saturday and 12:30-5 p.m., Friday at the funeral home, (501) 376-7188.
