Hattie Mae Higginbotham, 88, of Rogers passed away September 5, 2022, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale after a brief illness. She was born October 1, 1933, in Temple, Texas, to Paul Henry and Anne (Hofferek) Lastovica. Hattie was an LPN/LVN for 30-plus years. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Rogers. She enjoyed crocheting and was an active member in Prayer Shawl Ministry. Hattie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Lawson Higginbotham, Jr.; two brothers, Stanley William Lastovica and Paul Henry Lastovica. Hattie loved the Lord with all her heart, and it showed in all she did in this life. She loved her family passionately and was always excited to see her children, grandchildren, extended family and many friends. She is survived by her children, Thomas Lawson Higginbotham, III (Linda), Keith Paul Higginbotham (Virginia), Carl Stanley Higginbotham, David Alan Higginbotham and Lisa Ann Clark; two brothers Leroy James Lastovica (Patricia) and Ernest Alfred Lastovica (Mary Jo); five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be 10-10:45 a.m., with memorial services at 11 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2022, at Central United Methodist Church Rogers.
