William Kelley Sisco, 82, of Elkins, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022, at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Fayetteville. He was born Monday, July 15, 1940, at Kingston, to William Ward and Louie Gertrude Phillips Sisco. William owned and operated the Sisco Grocery and Station in St. Paul for 20 years. He enjoyed cattle farming and grew turkeys for Cargill for 27 years. He was a kind, gentle man that loved his grandchildren. He was a friend to everyone and a godly man. William was preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters, Virgie Williams; Wanda Guthrie; and Virginia Russell. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie Sisco and Terry Byers, of Pettigrew, and Lonnie and Kaci Sisco, of Atkins, one daughter, Connie Armer, of Elkins; nine grandchildren, James Armer, Ashley Armer, Kelsey Biggs, Kayla Sisco, Shelby Sisco, Spencer Sisco; Caitlyn Roberts, Hannah Barton, and Kynedi Barton; eight great-grandchildren, James, Kayden, Kylee, Piper, Paisley, Paige, Payton, and Warren; and one brother, Larry Sisco of Prairie Grove. Services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at Brashears Funeral Home with Larry Johnson officiating. Pallbearers will be, James Armer, Shelby Sisco, Spencer Sisco, Dennis Sisco, Clay Stephens, and Donnie McCoy. Honorary pallbearers will be Darren Williams, Jack Van Brunt, Bob Van Brunt, Joe McCoy, Larry Byers, Kenny Riley, and David McComas. Interment will immediately follow services at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Crosses. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
