Patricia "Patty" Ann Bell Swanson

Patricia "Patty" Ann Bell Swanson, 77, of Cabot, passed away Monday, September 12, 2022. Patty was born August 11, 1945, in Pine Bluff, to William E. Bell and Betty Ann Offutt Bell. Patty was raised in Pine Bluff, graduating from PBHS in 1963. She graduated in 1967 from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, with a BA in Psychology/Sociology. She received an MSE in Special Education from UCA in Conway in 1971, and a M.Ed. in Vocational Education from the University of Arkansas in 1985. Patty was employed by Jenkins Memorial Center, Pine Bluff, from August 1968 to December 31, 2007, when she retired. She is survived by her husband, David V. Swanson; stepchildren, Jennifer Swanson Doggett Grimes of Jonesboro and Jim Swanson of Wylie, Texas; her brother, Jeffery (Jeff) M. Bell of Bentonville, Arkansas; four grandchildren; two nieces; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. There will be no services at this time.
