Gladys Hollman Almond

Gladys Marie Hollman Almond, 95, of DeWitt, passed away September 15, 2022. She was born November 11, 1926, in Gillett to Henry and Ida Weber Hollman. Gladys retired from the DeWitt Shoe Factory and was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She loved flowers and gardening, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Johnnie F. Almond; sisters, Clara Wallace, Catherine Lamb, and Helen Pigg; and brother, John Hollman. Gladys is survived by her children, Patsy Padgett of DeWitt, Ron Almond (Lisa) of Maumelle, and Diane Kagebein of DeWitt; three grandchildren: Amy Randall (Aaron Lee), Kelly Padgett (Carla), and Melissa Kagebein; four great-grandchildren: Meagan Randall (Matthew Mitchell), Landon Parker, Skyller Padgett, and Carson Ball; and one great-granddaughter, Adilynn Grace Mitchell. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 17, at Cedarcrest Memorial Gardens.
