James E. "Jamie" Sawyer

James E. "Jamie" Sawyer, Jr., 60, of Rogers passed away January 30, 2023. He was born August 9, 1962 in Rogers, Ark., the son of James E. "Jim" Sawyer, Sr., and Laura Virginia Beaver Sawyer. Jamie was a transport driver for Hugg-Hall. He was a member of the Bella Vista Church of Christ. He enjoyed working on the land which was his dream. He loved spending time with his wife, Joy, their dog Archie and cat Maxine. Jamie also enjoyed woodworking, working on his vintage Bug, and rock crawling. Preceded in death by his cousin, William "Billy" Drain. He is survived by his wife, Joy Thomas Sawyer; children, Andy Sites and wife Ashley, and Remy Sawyer; his parents, Jim and Laura Sawyer, his sister, Karen Sawyer; two grandchildren, Mason and John Sites; his aunt, Elizabeth Beaver; nieces, Jorja Blair and husband Brennan Blair, Dr. Jasmine Haller Tibon and husband Leonard Tibon; great-nephew, John Luke Blair; and cousins, Rebecca "Becky" Schroeder; and many beloved family and friends. Visitation 9:30-11 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2023, at the Bella Vista Church of Christ. A celebration of Jamie's life will begin at 11:00. Private interment in the Rogers Cemetery.
