Paul K. Jordan

Photo of Paul K. Jordan
Paul K. Jordan, 65, of Redfield was born September 20, 1955 in Natchez, Miss., the son of Oliver F. Jordan and Dorothy C. Crabtree Jordan. Paul was a man of faith and a member of the River Road Baptist Church of Redfield. He loved his family and watching his daughters grow into the women they are today. He loved to travel, read a good book, photography, woodworking, scuba diving, camping, and hiking. In general, he loved the great outdoors with all it had to offer and lived it, his way, to its fullest. Paul didn't have much to say but he did love a good intelligent debate. They say: "He has achieved success who has lived well, laughed often and loved much". Paul has succeeded in life. Paul fought cancer for over a year and on the morning of December 31, 2022, he died peacefully at home in his sleep to join his family who preceded him in death: his father, Oliver F. Jordan; and mother, Dorothy C. Jordan. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary Ann Bradshaw Jordan; their daughters and families: Christine "Michele" Jordan and fiance David Collins of Redfield, Allison Danielle "Dani" Jordan of Redfield, and as Paul would say, daughter of another mother and father, Robin, Aaron, Gage, Garrett and Gabriel Robertson of White Hall; two brothers and their families, Ronald Wayne Jordan and Gayle Vojtanek of Arizona, and David Craig, Alicia, and Brett Jordan of Arkansas; and two nieces, Brandi Jordan-Walters and Krista Jordan McVay of Nebraska. A memorial service will be 2 p.m., Friday, January 6, 2023, at Ralph Robinson and Son. The family will visit with friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Hospice Home Care in Pine Bluff or a charity of your choosing. Online guestbook at www.ralphrobinsonandson.com.
