Dorothy Lucille Taylor

Lucille Taylor, 92, lived in Rogers for approximately 40 years. Mrs. Taylor worked at the Rogers Activity Center as a receptionist for the majority of those years. She was always smiling, willing to help, and so enjoyed the children that would come and go. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with family and loved to quilt. When she retired, she worked with the group "Granny's Quilts of Love" who sewed quilts for children at St. Jude's Hospital. Lucille is survived by four children; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and two nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Elige Taylor; and two grandchildren. Services for Lucille Taylor will be Friday, January 27, 2023. Visitation will begin at 12 noon and her funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., all at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery.
