Glenna Jean Rankin Hodge

Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman that feareth the Lord?: she shall be praised. Glenna Jean Rankin Hodge, 76, of Hot Springs passed away, Saturday, June 17, 2023. She was born June 21, 1946, in Hot Springs to the late William Chase and Dorothy Lee Geurin Rankin. She was a retired mortgage lender and was a member of Lake Valley Community Church, where she continued to live a life of service to others, and to her Heavenly Faither. She was predeceased by her parents; sister, Rebecca Wood and husband, Bubba Peyton. Survivors include her children: son, Roberts and Tammy Lee; daughter, Laura Lee and Deacon Phillip Thompson; brothers, David Rankin, Bill Rankin; sister, Gwynn Muncrief; grandchildren, Anna Thompson, Phillip Thompson, Thomas Thompson, Gray Lee, and Cash Lee; and many nieces and nephews. Service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2023, at Lake Valley Church with Morgan Golden officiating. Burial at Greenwood Cemetery following service. Pallbearers - Phillip Thompson, Gray Lee, Thomas Thompson, Charlie Rankin, Greg Rankin, Paul Rankin, Will Lee. Honorary Pallbearers – Shane Wood, Christopher Akman.
