Absolute personal responsibility

Hillary Clinton was heard from this week. After months of not saying much publicly, she appeared at some outfit called Women for Women (we're not kidding) to explain how we have President Trump.

You see, a range of external forces were responsible for her defeat. Of course there were Russian hackers. The release of John Podesta's emails. FBI Director James Comey's letter to Congress that he had reopened an investigation of her email server. She talked about "the unprecedented interference" by Vladimir Putin. She was also the victim of misogyny and the press didn't treat her fairly.

"I was on the way to winning until a combination of Jim Comey's letter on Oct. 28 and Russian WikiLeaks raised doubts in the minds of people who were inclined to vote for me but got scared off," she semi-explained.

But Hillary Clinton also told the group that she takes "absolute personal responsibility" for losing the election.

Well.

If that's taking absolute personal responsibility, what would be passing the buck?

For those trying to explain how We the People ended up with President Donald Trump, the easiest, and surest, answer is this: Hillary Clinton.
