The trailer for the coming film Antiquities has been released, and the movie features a handful of Arkansas connections.

The comedy, which is said to be arriving soon, was written by two Arkansas natives: Graham Gordy and Daniel Campbell, both of North Little Rock, and was produced by the Arkansas-based company Mortuus Pater Pictures.

Much of the movie was filmed in Galaxy Furniture, which is on Main Street in North Little Rock. Several shots inside the business are visible in the minute-and-a-half trailer, which is viewable on this page or in a larger version here.

The movie also stars Mary Steenburgen, an Academy Award-winning actress who grew up in North Little Rock and who was recently named to the next class of inductees into the Arkansas Women's Hall of Fame.

Gov. Asa Hutchinson and North Little Rock Mayor Joe Smith visited the set in November 2016 while crews were shooting in Galaxy Furniture, which months later sold its entire retro collection of furnishings and housewares to be used as props in the third season of True Detective. The HBO show is filming in Northwest Arkansas.
