The Arkansas Black Hall of Fame induction ceremony always proves to be a multifaceted event … a means of giving honor to those who have given of themselves; an educational tool; a means to raise money to for the shaping of possible future inductees … and a chance to get dressed up and have a great time. The 21st annual induction ceremony — held Oct 19 in the Wally Allen Ballroom of the Statehouse Convention Center — did not disappoint. Preceding the black-tie fundraiser was a VIP reception in the Grand Hall of the Arkansas Governor's Mansion.
