Searcy Public Schools Hall of Honor banquet

The 11th annual Searcy Public Schools Education Foundation Hall of Honor banquet and induction ceremony were held Jan. 23 in the Sullards Annex Cafeteria at Searcy High School. Two educators and three Searcy High School alumni were inducted into the Hall of Honor. Educators honored were Rosemary Bell, a retired elementary-school music teacher, and Claude Smith, Searcy High School principal and former band director. The alumni honored were local pediatrician Dr. Mitzi Washington, retired dentist Dr. Robert Miller and international political strategist Craig T. Smith.
