Portfest Rollin’ on the River Festival, Newport

The 33rd annual Portfest Rollin’ on the River Festival, sponsored by the Newport Area Chamber of Commerce, was held June 6 and 7 on the banks of the White River at Jacksonport State Park. Entertainers for the weekend included Blackfoot, The Marshall Tucker Band, Jon Pardi and Sammy Kershaw. The event included a petting zoo and inflatables for the kids, as well as the buddy bass-fishing tournament, a horseshoe-pitching tournament and a Baggo tournament.
