Cocktails for a Cause

At Cocktails for a Cause on Aug. 26, a small recruitment meeting for Peacekeepers, a volunteer group supporting the Women and Children First shelter in Little Rock. Peacekeepers has raised about $100,000 between its last two events, Caribbean Cabaret in the spring and Vegas on the Rocks last fall. Women and Children First provides shelter for survivors of domestic violence and is a United Way agency.
